Welcome to our school's website

At Thornton Hough Primary School, we provide a warm and friendly atmosphere in which children can grow and develop both socially and academically. Our aim is to ensure our children are both happy and secure which sets the basis for successful learning, whilst developing the self-confidence and moral values that are crucial for today's world. We see ourselves very much as a family school with traditional values, at the heart of a community that works together for the good of the children. We take pride in our achievements and have high expectations for each child in every aspect of their work.

In our latest Ofsted Inspection (December 2011), the School was graded Outstanding across all areas.  The inspection report stated:

"Pupils thrive in an environment where every child is known, cared for and valued, and this is helping them to achieve excellence in both their personal and academic development."

If you would like further details please contact the school office.

Best Wishes
